Audubon Center for Birds of Prey is one of Central Florida’s best-kept secrets that focuses on the rescue, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and release of the wild birds on Lake Sybelia and offers educational opportunities for people of all ages.
Maitland, Florida is known for its luxury homes built around its lakes. Lake Maitland, Lake Minnehaha, and Lake Sybelia are among the various lakes in the City of Maitland. The lakes cover 1027 acres, or one-third, or the total area of the city. Lake Lily is the home of the Maitland Art Festival.
